About This Course

Trauma is not just about what happened. It is about what happened inside you — the way an overwhelming experience got stuck in your nervous system, altering how you see yourself, other people, and the world.

Trauma can result from a single acute event — an accident, assault, or sudden loss — or from prolonged exposure to harmful or neglectful circumstances: childhood abuse, domestic violence, emotional neglect, or years of chronic stress. Both are real. Both deserve healing.

This course does not ask you to relive your trauma. It does not require you to tell your story in detail or process every painful memory. Instead, it offers a framework for understanding what trauma is and what it has done, a toolkit for stabilising and grounding your nervous system, and a path toward post-traumatic growth — not just survival, but genuine transformation.

Drawing from trauma-informed approaches including elements of EMDR principles, somatic awareness, Polyvagal Theory, and narrative therapy, this course meets you gently, with deep respect for the courage it takes to heal.
